The Chevy dealer said there was nothing they could really do, but we could bring the car in and have it 'buffed out'!' When we contacted our Chevy dealer, they said it's been a problem with the color paint with the metallic flecks. 'My wife noticed there was small rust spots all over one of the doors, then started looking and seen there was rust spots all over. 'Paint is coming off from the lower front fenders on both sides.' 'A 2 inch by 2inch section of paint has chipped of the roof on the right side rear' My car I drive the same and there is no chips' 'The paint is chipping and cracking I have had 100,000 miles on cars that didn't look as bad as this with 15,000 miles the dealer said to bad I must drive in bad weather and I will get chips. No radio, back up camera, navigation, diagnostics. Shut the car off and start again then everything is normal.' when this happens only the recirculate & outside air icons are shown. '3 times Display for Heater, AC modes and temperature settings are not shown. The screen restarts right away, but it's very worrisome that it's never happened when we have someone look at it' 'It's only happened a couple times, but the screen will just freeze up, and then the screen goes blank. (2016 Chevrolet Equinox Unsure 2.4-L 4 Cyl) This can be quite unnerving especially in heavy traffic!'

'When using the OnStar turn by turn navigation, the screen always freezes up, so that I am unable to see when the next turn is, so I must always listen for the next command. 'when hanging up a call the screen freezes and you can no longer use the bluetooth to make a call or change the radio' Will not unfreeze until vehicle has been shut off and restarted' This has happened 3 times in the 14 months we have had the car.
